Artists Productions
is a film and television production company that specializes in creating
original material for broadcast and distribution. It is led by Tom
Zanca, a screenwriter and director.
The
company currently is in production with its third original TV pilot, a
drama called “Echoes & Voices.” It’s expected to wrap in May.
Its previous TV pilot, a dramatic thriller titled “Bloodhounds,”
was a selection of The
Garden State Film Festival, The
New York Television Festival, and the PilotLite Online TV
Festival. Its first TV pilot was a family dramedy titled “Lost
& Found.”
The
company had a short thriller, “Linger”,
screened at the BIG
APPLE FILM FESTIVAL , while its first production was Marilyn
Monroe Was Here, a short film that was a selection of The
New York Independent Film and Video Festival and the
Brandywine Film Festival in Delaware. The black & white short was
heavily influenced by the writer Rod Serling and his popular Twilight
Zone series of the 1960s.
